Christians Associated for Relationships with Eastern Europe -
Religion in Eastern Europe (REE)
In 1981 as president of CAREE Paul Mojzes launched Occasional Papers on Religion in Eastern Europe ( OPREE ). Contributors of sufficient number quickly appeared for the journal to appear six times annually as a rule. In 1993 OPREE was renamed Religion in Eastern Europe ( REE ) in recognition of its regular appearance as a bimonthly journal. The journal in indexed in ATLA Religion Database , now accessible through http://www.atla.com/ . Microfilms of past volumes are available through the Theological Research Exchange Network, and REE is also listed in several directories of periodicals. In order to facilitate better searches of back issues, this cumulative index is appearing here in hard copy and will also be posted on REE 's webpage ( http://ree.georgefox.edu ).
Several previous indices or “tables of contents” were compiled, and distributed to readers. They are incorporated into this cumulative index and made part of REE's publication. The editor thanks the following for their earlier contributions: Lawrence Klippenstein & Joan Taylor (then of Keston College, Keston UK) (for issues 1981-85); Johannes Schatz of the Evangelische Kirche von Hessen und Nassau Wiesbaden, Germany (issues 1986-91).
In the interests of consistency and ease of citation, the index lists the author, title of the article (or book author and title being reviewed), the volume and issue numbers and page numbers. The cumulative index proceeds chronologically from year to year. Readers who wish to do a word or topic search can download the webpage copy.
Walter Sawatsky, Editor.
